Beschreibung: Wrapped in an airy, lively and comfortable marine decoration, stocked by the daily fishing catch, with an unquestionable relation between quality and price, so close to the sea that the clean marine breeze invades your lungs, this restaurant is one of the best representatives of sea food cooking in our surroundings. It is housed in an ancient building put up in 1568, which served in it´s time as a warehouse for sugar exportation in the days when La Caleta was a harbour and the Adeje area produced tonnes of this product (tomatoes and bananas were also kept there waiting for embarkation, substituting one product for another). It was acquired during the 1970´s by a couple from Murcia, Josefina Vidal-Eusebio Cabrera, and was restfully converted into this fresh establishment which makes local and foreign delicacies. (This was initiated together with the Pisces Bar-Restaurant, which proudly continues to function in the lower part of the building, very rhythmically with the sea).

Restaurant Masia del Mar in La Caleta is absoulutely fantastic! This is my favorite fish and seafood restaurant in Tenerife. The outdoor terrace overlooking the Atlantic is the place to be when the sun sets. They serve the freshes of seafood, and you can pick yourself and they will prepare it to your liking. La Caleta in Adeje is a great place for other restaurants as well.

La Masia del Mar en beautiful las Caletas is just a wonderful place! The terraces with a gorgeous sea view, fresh seafood and fish. You should try the Bouillabaise, that’s the best fish soup I have ever tasted. Me and my sister went 3 times in our holiday in Tenerife.

Las terrazas de la Masia del Mar con sus vistas directamente al mar de la Caleta, la paella de mariscos frescos, el personal tan simpático. ¡Es un ganador! Me lo recomendó una amiga y fuimos para probar la paella de mariscos con mi marido. Os aseguro que mi marido que es valenciano, siempre dice que nadie sabe hacer la paella de verdad, pero le encanto esta paella. ¡Lo recomiendo a mi vez!

If you are looking for an idyllic fishing village in Tenerife head for La Caleta on Costa Adeje. One of our favorite sea food restaurants here is Masia Del Mar! They have a huge terrace hanging over the sea. Their sea food paella is to die for!

We visited this resturant last October and had the most fantastic evening, serenaded by the waiters, ate the most delicious food and had the most romantic evening of our whole holiday. The service was first class and we cannot wait to go back there nex week on the 29th of May for my husband's birthday. To sit right on the side where the sea is and look out to the ocean was amazing.

What a superb restaurant. Fabulous location, good friendly service, terrific food quality and pretty good value for money. We have been using it for years and love it! You will not be disappointed.
