Beschreibung: Denise Downey, a formidable cook, has converted this house in Arona into a restaurant with a colourful, eclectic, serene and immaculate atmosphere with a Pacific flavour, and singular decorative touches alien to accentricities. Today the house is the scene of rich exotic cooking, but was formerly a religious cloister full of patios and intertwining rooms, where, amongst fundamental purity, the mere human aspired to all things divine. Here there is no place for melancholy, but a place to fulfil full flavoured dreams. Before Denise fell in love with the Canaries, she was a chef for large figures of the seventh art, and offers us a kitchen full of contrasts, some spicy and hot, which arises from her culinary memory shaped in Europe, America and Australia. Her own dishes like Cajun salmon with sweet chilli and coriander glaze, king prawns with chilli and coconut served with Thai style rice, filet steak with a port and wine sauce we extract from a select menu anointed with anonymous aromas.
